The main function of the Authority Monitoring Report (AMR) is to provide evidence of policy implementation and review the effectiveness of policies, show progress in document preparation (development plan documents and supplementary planning documents), and to report on the delivery of housing and employment floor space. The AMR is the main mechanism for assessing the performance of the Ipswich Local Plan.
