An interactive journey planner is available on the Traveline website.

Trains

Ipswich is served by train operator Greater Anglia, and has its main railway station on Burrell Road, a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, or a short bus or taxi ride away.

Buses run regularly to the town centre and full information is displayed in the timetable display unit at the bus stop on the railway station forecourt. Taxis are also available from the forecourt.

The station is on the InterCity main line to London and offers direct links to Colchester, Stratford, Bury St.Edmunds, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Norwich, Felixstowe, Lowestoft and a large number of other places as well.

Ipswich also has another, smaller, unstaffed railway station called 'Derby Road', on the Felixstowe branch line.
