You can choose how often you pay your Council Tax:

• Once a year for the year ahead, in April;
• Twice a year, in April and October;
• 10 monthly payments, usually from April to January on the 1st of each month;
• If you pay by direct debit, you can choose to pay on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of the month;

If you have any difficulty making payment it is important that you contact us as soon as possible - please do not wait for a reminder to arrive. If you contact us early, before recovery proceedings have commenced, we can consider your position and it may be possible to agree another arrangement.
