The stellar cast of Ipswich Regent Theatre’s pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk has been revealed!
Leading the cast to play Jill, TikTok star Abbie Budden is no stranger to the stage, having recently starred in Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical. The star. who is best known for her humorous video content, has enjoyed viral success which has led her to opportunities such as hosting the WhatsOnStage Awards red carpet pre-show earlier this year.
Playing the role of villain Fleshcreep, Michael Greco is best recognized for his iconic role as Beppe di Marco in Eastenders between 1998 and 2002. Recently he has played roles in the British medical drama, Casualty, and the Netflix series Queen Cleopatra.
Bringing flamboyance and fun to the role of Spirit of the Beans, dancer, choreographer, and presenter Louie Spence joins this exciting cast. Shooting to fame through the show Pineapple Dance Studios, Louie started his career as a dancer and has performed in West End musicals Cats, Miss Saigon and Closer to Heaven and is more recently recognised for his appearances on reality TV shows Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.
Back by popular demand, Gavin Ashbarry and Mike "Squeaky" McClean also return following last year's performances in Sleeping Beauty.
Produced by the team behind previous record-breaking pantos at the Ipswich Regent Theatre, Enchanted Entertainment bring a show filled with laughter, music, and plenty of surprises to audiences from Tuesday 17 December to 31 December 2024.
