Ipswich Borough Council to move Customer Services to Grafton House

Ipswich Borough Council is pleased to announce the opening of its new Customer Services facility at the Council's Headquarters, Grafton House.

From Monday 29 January 2024, visitors to the Council offices during office hours, Monday to Friday will be able to access online services and speak to our customer services advisors via our public phones.

The new facility replaces the current in-person provision at the Town Hall and offers several benefits, including:

  • We will offer increased opening hours from our current two-day offering weekly to five days per week.
  • Pre-booked, face-to-face appointments.
  • Modern and welcoming customer service area at the Council Headquarters.
  • Excellent access via public transport, with just a short walk from Ipswich Train station or from various bus routes, including the most frequent buses the No 12 & No 13 and the No 66 & No 66A.

Councillor Bryony Rudkin, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Strategy, Culture and Customers Ipswich Borough Council, says:

“We pride ourselves on our Customer Service, and this move provides an easy way to access the support people need, be that by telephone, or bookable face-to-face appointments. The most convenient method for most customers to access services is online via MyIpswich.  We remain dedicated to fostering stronger connections with our customers, and this facility is a step towards making that happen.”
